Product Description

Introduction of Lion’s Mane Extract Powder

Lion’s Mane Extract Powder, derived from the fruiting bodies and mycelium of Hericium erinaceus (Yamabushitake), is a premium nutraceutical ingredient with standardized bioactive compounds, widely used in dietary supplements, functional foods, cosmeceuticals, and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Source of Raw Material

Our raw Hericium erinaceus is sustainably cultivated in GAP-certified, pollution-free regions in China. We use mature fruiting bodies and high-quality mycelium (no myceliated grain substrates) and conduct strict pre-processing inspections for contaminants, complying with global organic standards.

Extraction Process

We adopt advanced water-ethanol dual extraction and low-temperature freeze-drying to preserve heat-sensitive bioactive compounds. The 12:1-15:1 extract ratio ensures high efficiency, no solvent residues, and good solubility, complying with FDA cGMP and ISO 22000 standards.

Active Ingredient Content

Our extract exceeds industry benchmarks: β-glucans ≥ 30%, Erinacine A ≥ 0.5%, Hericenone C ≥ 1.0%, Total Erinacines ≥ 1.2%. It meets 2026 national food safety standards, with NGF-inducing activity ≥ 42.6%, all batch-tested by third parties.

Differentiation Advantages

Core advantages:

(1) Dual-source raw material for full-spectrum bioactives;

(2) Dual extraction retains 30% more terpenoids;

(3) Global regulatory compliance (FDA GRAS, EU Novel Food, Halal/Kosher);

(4) Customizable specifications and microencapsulation options.

Key Active Compounds

The extract’s efficacy comes from its unique bioactive compounds:

Erinacines

Cyathin diterpenoids from mycelium, crossing the blood-brain barrier to support neurohealth. Erinacine A is a potent NGF stimulator, while Erinacine C enhances neurogenesis, and Erinacine L offers neurotrophic/anti-neuroinflammatory effects.

Hericenones

Aromatic compounds from fruiting bodies, supporting NGF synthesis and exerting antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and gut-protective effects. Hericenone C is a key quality marker.

β-Glucans

Primary immunomodulatory components (≥30%) that activate immune cells and support gut health by promoting beneficial microbiota and strengthening the intestinal barrier.

Phenolic Compounds

Minor components (gallic acid, ferulic acid, catechin) enhancing antioxidant capacity by scavenging free radicals.

Benefits

Our extract offers multi-dimensional health benefits backed by research:

Neurohealth Support

Erinacines and hericenones stimulate NGF synthesis, maintaining cognitive function, preventing age-related decline, and attenuating neuroinflammation.

Immune Modulation

β-glucans activate immune cells, enhancing pathogen defense and reducing chronic inflammation.

Gastrointestinal Health

Reduces gastric inflammation, promotes mucosal healing, modulates gut microbiota, and protects the stomach lining.

Antioxidant & Anti-Inflammatory Effects

Activates the Nrf2 pathway, scavenges free radicals, and inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokines to support overall wellness.

Cosmeceutical Benefits

Supports skin barrier repair, reduces oxidative damage, promotes collagen synthesis, and improves hair health.
